IronMan is one of the longest and most strenuous triathlons in the world, made up of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and 26.2 mile run. It’s a challenging event for anyone and for someone with diabetes, it can be daunting. But living with type 1 diabetes since age 19, Eddie Vasquez, was eager to take on this challenge.
“If I can do it, so can you.” Today, Eddie takes us on his inspirational IronMan journey.
