What You Need to Get Started

In order to use CareLink Personal software, you need:

  • Access to a personal computer running Windows® 2000, XP or Vista (32-bit)
  • A reliable Internet connection
  • Microsoft® Internet Explorer version 5.5 (SP2) or higher
  • Adobe® Reader™ version 5.0 or higher
  • A connectivity device, such as a CareLink USB device.

Note:

CareLink is not currently compatible with Windows Vista 64-bit, Windows 7 or Macintosh operating systems.

To get started, follow our simple three-step approach:

  1. Register at http://carelink.medtronicdiabetes.com
  2. Upload your information
  3. Review the reports and share them with your healthcare provider

Storing data in CareLink Personal software is often safer than storing it on a home computer system that is connected to the Internet. We use a three-tier architecture that puts the data behind three separate firewalls.
